Orihuela

Orihuela, located in the province of Alicante, Spain, is the capital of the Vega Baja del Segura region. With a population of approximately 82,000 inhabitants, its territory is one of the largest in Spain, encompassing a historic city center, a vast rural area with 22 pedanías (villages), and a thriving coastal zone. The city’s multicultural character is reflected in its large expatriate community, especially in Orihuela Costa, where a significant percentage of residents come from other European countries.
