Financial support is crucial to growth and job creation at the local and European level, and to enable cities to meet pressing societal challenges and climate change. We advocate for the early involvement of urban actors in the shaping of the EU budget architecture and in the identification of its key policy priorities, with particular attention to the European Competitiveness Fund and National and Regional Partnership Plans, Horizon Europe (FP10), Connecting Europe Facility, and European Social Fund (ESF+).
