Vinnytsia is the city of Shchedryk, the world-famous Carol of the Bells and the birthplace of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi. The city hosts events of local and national significance – VinnytsiaJazzFest, the international literary festival Island of Europe, land-art festival Mythogenesis and others that put Vinnytsia on the map as a vibrant regional cultural centre.
