The publication explores how cities are transforming former industrial sites, historic buildings, public spaces and neighbourhood facilities into vibrant cultural hubs that foster creativity, inclusion, sustainability and community participation.
Through a collection of city case studies, the catalogue highlights emerging trends in cultural placemaking, including adaptive reuse of heritage buildings, mobile and modular cultural spaces, decentralised cultural infrastructure, community co-design, support for artists and creative professionals, accessibility, and circular approaches to culture.
