Madrid’s public transport authority has established a new mission, to promote the safety of women as users of the city’s public transport service.

The mission will carry out an assessment of the situation of women as users of public transport to identify those situations that may affect their safety more directly. On the other hand, the mission will propose concrete and tactical actions to promote public transport as a safe place for women.
