The Heritage Library is a digital repository of heritage-related materials, providing access to a vast pool of resources, ranging from research papers, articles and case studies to audiovisual content and much more. A filter system and search bar help users navigate content in the database, which includes multilingual content linked to heritage across the European continent.
Broadening Heritage Knowledge
The European Heritage Hub fully embraces digital technologies to make heritage-related content, policies, initiatives, and news easily accessible to all. Using the Five Pillars of the European Framework for Action on Cultural Heritage and the Triple Transformation as a connecting thread, the library aims to broaden knowledge of existing heritage actions, facts, and figures and encourage the exchange of best practices beyond borders.
The content is organised using the following five categories:
- Digital Transition
- Green Transition
- Heritage Preservation
- Inclusion & Accessibility
- International Cultural Relations
Ultimately, through increased knowledge sharing the Hub builds resilience of the heritage ecosystem and demonstrates the value it brings to our economy, society and the environment among policy-makers, practitioners, and citizens at large.
If you have content to add to the Heritage Library, you can submit it via this form.
