Next to the re-release of the second edition of the SUMP guidelines, we produced a specific SUMP topic guide for metropolitan regions.

We hope that this document and its annex on good practice examples will be of inspiration for many of you that are planning for sustainable mobility on a metropolitan scale.

We develop these guidelines in intense cooperation with many of our members through dedicated interviews and working group meetings.

With these guidelines we have put our cities in the spotlight as front runners of sustainable urban mobility, and we expect that their input will also be used to guide future Commission policy.
