The Big Buyers Working Together (BBWT) Annual Event brings together public buyers, policymakers and stakeholders from across Europe to exchange experiences and explore how cooperation can strengthen the impact of strategic public procurement. Launched by the European Commission in 2023, BBWT supports collaboration among cities, central purchasing bodies and other major public buyers, helping them use their collective purchasing power to accelerate innovative and sustainable solutions.
Participants will learn from practical experiences and discuss how cooperation between public buyers can help scale impact across Europe. The programme will combine plenary discussions, interactive exchanges and study visits, creating space for participants to share solutions on topics such as sustainability impact, innovation procurement, market engagement and socially responsible procurement.
