As part of the campaign, which was supported by more than 90 cities, Eurocities organised a pilot project of citizens panels on the future of Europe in 18 member cities, with support from the European Commission.
The purpose was to engage citizens and discuss a set of themes, identify issues close to people’s hearts and come up with recommendations on future actions to be undertaken by the EU. These citizens panels were organised between October 2018 and February 2019 so that the results could be taken forward to EUROCITIES second mayors summit in Brussels.
The outcomes of the citizens panels and of the overall Cities4Europe campaign are now available in a report, which you can find below.
