On 29 May 2017, the European Commission is organising a webinar for SMEs and start-ups on data access, data sharing and data re-use.

The webinar, which will take place on 29 May between 14.00-17.00 CET, is a part of the Commission's 'Building a European Data Economy' communication, that tries to identify challenges when dealing with access to and re-use of data. The webinar targets SMEs and start-ups, which will have the opportunity to express their opinion and give input on the initiative through the interaction with key stakeholders of the Digital Single Market Strategy.

The webinar will give several examples of the SMEs and start-ups' strategies on accessing data and building their business models and through the live poll will indicate main barriers about the data use. The goal is to improve the knowledge of SMEs and start-ups on how data using can enhance their businesses and to help the Commission to recognise the concerns of other relevant actors in the field.

The registration for the webinar closes on 19 May 2017. You can register here.
