Daniel Termont - EUROCITIES president and mayor of Ghent - will present today the 'Cities4Europe - Europe for citizens' campaign at the event 'Democratic participation in the 2019 European Parliament elections' organised by the S&D Group in the European Parliament.

This conference aims at gathering citizens, students, politicians and progressive partners in Bruges to engage into a lively debate about the European elections.

The "TOGETHER" project was launched in 2016 by the S&D Group, in co-operation with its progressive family. The aim is to truly engage citizens in key debates all across Europe. They want people to actively contribute and to share with us their thoughts on how to improve our lives and how to strengthen European democracy.
