The first Urban Nodes Forum in Budapest on 3-5 April 2019 will bring together
freight, logistics, planning and funding representatives from the 88 urban
nodes of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) corridors to exchange
ideas and develop recommendations.
April's Urban Nodes Forum will be the first event of its kind to gather together representatives from the TEN-T urban nodes to explore and share solutions for improving the interface of long-distance freight transport and last-mile delivery - the goal of the Vital Nodes project.
The forum is for urban nodes representatives, planners, infrastructure coordinators and operators, freight and logistics operators and funding specialists in mobility, infrastructure, passenger transport, freight and logistics.
The event also aims to encourage participants to develop project ideas for their own environments, receive qualified feedback and provide the European Commission with feedback from the ground. As recommendations are being developed for the next funding period of structural funds (2021-2027), participants' ideas could soon be realised!
Travel costs for one person per urban node can be reimbursed - just make it clear on your registration form if you'd like to claim these costs.
