On August 1st, the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the
European Commission published an open survey to gather input from the general
public and stakeholders regards the main problems and proposed solutions for
simplifying the future implementation of TEN-T projects.
The TEN-T (Trans-European Networks) programme aims to support the development of a EU-wide network of infrastructures including transport, energy and communications.
DG-MOVE recognises that the effective implementation of the TEN-T projects might be impacted by complex regulatory and administrative arrangements. This, in certain cases, might contribute to increased costs, delays and uncertainty.
The consultation is addressed to local, regional and national public authorities, but also to public contracting entities that procure road transport vehicles and contracts involving such vehicles.
The questionnaire is available here
and should be submitted by 9 November 2017.
