A workshop aimed at providing input for a Circular City Portal that will act as
a one-stop-shop for cities transitioning to a circular economy, is being held
on 11 October as an official side-event of the European Week of Regions and
Cities in Brussels.
A forum for exchanging knowledge and case studies, the workshop's primary aim is to contribute to the creation of an openly shared knowledge base that will inspire and guide cities in their journey towards a circular economy.
The Circular City Portal will consolidate, compile and guide cities to relevant information. It will also promote the further development, dissemination and sharing of new information and know-how on the circular economy, with a focus on practical implementation issues.
The existing Stakeholder Platform on the circular economy will be presented at the workshop and input from cities will be gathered to optimise this instrument.
