Young people are invited to present their projects linked to citizenship at the Nantes Creative Generations Forum on 22-25 October 2014
Nantes Creative Generations (NCG) is seeking applications from young people, aged 18-30, to present their innovative and inspirational projects linked to European citizenship at its forum on 22-25 October 2014.
As well as showcasing their own projects, participants will have the chance to learn from peers across Europe and to gain better understanding of the European dimension of local projects.
Nantes Creative Generations (NCG) is an initiative set up by EUROCITIES vice president, Nantes Metropole and the city of Nantes, together with a number of NGOs, to bring together young European citizens who are involved in projects or initiatives designed to strengthen European citizenship.
The initiative consists of several different components:
an annual three-day forum, where young people gather in Nantes to present their projects, share good practices and network with peers
the NCG network, which all participants join up to following the forum
a cooperation award, which offers grants to support the design and implementation of two transnational projects developed by teams of young people
NCG on tour, which gives youth delegations the opportunity to visit European project leaders in other countries who have previously participated in the NCG forum
Applications are welcome from young citizens of any country which is a member of the Council of Europe and must be submitted by 31 May 2014 using the application form available here.
