EUROCITIES is looking for an external expert to produce a report on the implementation at local level of principle 19 of the European Pillar of Social Rights – Housing and assistance for the homeless. EUROCITIES and its members are committed to implementing the European Pillar of Social Rights by tackling the causes of social exclusion, eradicating all forms of discrimination and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
Within this framework, EUROCITIES is now preparing the development of a third report of a series on cities’ existing and planned policy measures in line with principle 19 of the European Pillar of Social Rights – Housing and assistance for the homeless. These reports are supported by the European Commission under the programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI).
EUROCITIES launched a survey among its members on cities’ policies and measures on social housing and on tackling homelessness. We are now looking for an expert to produce a report based on the analysis of the survey data.
Interested experts are expected to submit a cover letter indicating their relevant expertise and a CV. The cover letter should highlight prior experience in urban policies related to access to housing and tackling homelessness as well as in survey analysis and preparation of analytical reports.
The deadline for submission is 15 November 2019 COB. The awarded expert will be notified on 18 November 2019.
