Cities’ cultural heritage ROCKs! New project kicks off in Bologna

Around 140 representatives from 32 cities and organisations met in Bologna on 14-16 June to launch ROCK (Regeneration and Optimisation of Cultural heritage in creative and Knowledge cities). Led by the city of Bologna, ROCK is an H2020-funded project that aims to develop an innovative, collaborative and circular approach to the regeneration and adaptive reuse of historic city centres.

EUROCITIES Call for expert for ROCK training webinar on mentoring methodology

Led by the city of Bologna, the ROCK project involves EUROCITIES, 10 large European cities and various partners (universities, private companies). Using public procurement to achieve social, green and innovation objectives

State aid legislation amended to stimulate investments in ports, airports and culture

On 17 May, the European Commission approved the amendment to the General Block Exemption Regulation on EU State aid rules (GBER) . This amendment aims to facilitate investments notably in port, airports, and culture and heritage conservation sectors. It is in line with the objective of reducing administrative burdens over member states.
