Join us for the European launch event of the 'Cities4Europe - Europe for citizens campaign' 7 May 2018 - from 17.30 at Bozar, Brussels Public debate with European, national and local political and cultural leaders, followed by a cocktail reception with Belgian artist Bonom.

'Cities4Europe - Europe for citizens': involve – inspire - impact

  • How can we best involve citizens in a dialogue about the future?
  • How can we inspire all levels of government to build societies where people come first?
  • How can we impact the way decisions are taken in Europe?

These are only a few of the questions that will be discussed at the launch of EUROCITIES campaign ‘Cities4Europe – Europe for citizens’.

We will kick off the campaign with an event in Brussels on 7 May 2018. European, national and local political leaders will engage with cultural personalities in a high level public debate.

We would like to invite you to add your voice to the debate.

17.30 –19.00: public debate, BOZAR (EN/FR simultaneous interpretation provided)

19.00 –20.30: cultural reception, BOZAR

‘Cities4Europe – Europe for citizens’ will involve citizens in a dialogue about our future, inspire all levels of government to build societies where people come first, and at impacting the way decisions are taken in Europe.

Throughout the campaign, policy makers and citizens will work together to imagine and create a better future for our continent. ‘Cities4Europe – Europe for citizens’ will showcase successful local initiatives that engage citizens, present ideas for new forms of democracy and map out a positive, common future.
