EUROCITIES and the city of Nantes invite all EUROCITIES members to attend a seminar on the subject of ’Promoting social responsibility in public procurement‘, to be held in Nantes on 30 November-1 December.
Participants will discuss the implications of the 2014 EU directives on how to achieve social policy objectives through public procurement.
In workshop settings, the municipal representatives will present examples as to how they pursue socially responsible public procurement. There will be ample time for exchanges and peer learning, and input from an independent public procurement expert. The event will also feature a plenary debate between cities and representatives of EU institutions and stakeholders about the future of public procurement.
Please find the draft agenda on the left hand side (or above if you are using a mobile).
Link to the registrations is available after logging in as a member.
Directly after this event, Nantes Metropole will hold its annual conference on public services. This years theme is social economy and how it links to public procurement and state aid. City representatives are invited to join this event.
