EUROCITIES Social Affairs Forum in Gothenburg on 25-26 October 2017: all material available

EUROCITIES held its most recent meeting of the Social Affairs Forum on 25-26 October 2017 in Gothenburg to discuss the role of cities in promoting a more social Europe and in delivering on a European Pillar of Social Rights. On the second day of the event, EUROCITIES announced its new statement 'Social Rights for All' showing the strong commitment of cities to transfer the principles of the pillar into actions on the ground.

Cities reaffirm their commitment to fight against poverty and rising inequalities

On 3-4 of April 2017, the EUROCITIES Social Affairs Forum held a meeting in the city of Lisbon. A record number of 140 representatives from over 40 cities gathered to discuss effective ways to prevent and respond to deep-seated poverty and rising inequalities in cities.
