Terrassa citizens' panel agrees recommendations on social rights

As part of our Cities4Europe campaign, Terrassa organised a citizens' consultation to develop recommendations, on social rights relating to housing and work, education and migration and governance and participation, which will be sent to the European Commission.

Utrecht signs a strong pledge to combat and prevent homelessness

Today, Utrecht became the 20th city to sign a pledge to the European Pillar of Social Rights. The Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs, Maarten van Ooijen, who is also our vice-chair of the EUROCITIES Social Affairs Forum, signed a strong commitment to principle 19 on housing and assistance for the homeless.

Genoa calls on cities to sign the Covenant of Mayors 2030 targets

Genoa calls on cities to join them at the next EUROCITIES Environment Forum to sign the Covenant of Mayors 2030 emission reduction target. Signatory cities pledge action to support implementation of the EU 40% greenhouse gas-reduction target by 2030 and the adoption of a joint approach to tackling mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
